Make a magic circle or chain two

Single crochet 8 in your chain two or the magic circle

Slip stitch cut and change color

Chain three, then place 3 double crochet in the same stitch.

Remove your hooked and insert it in the top of the chain three pull your loop through the chain three chain three then put three double crochet in the next stitch pull up the loop remove your hook inserted in the top of the previous chain three pull the loop through the chain three and chain three again do this in each stitch around.

When you are finished fasten off and leave a long tail to sew.

For the leaves

Single crochet 7, place 1 single crochet in the second single crochet from the hook, then place one half double crochet in the next stitch. Place one double crochet in the next 2 stitches, then place 5 double crochet in the last stitch. You are going to work the opposite side the same way in reverse. Place one double crochet in the next 2 stitches, one half double crochet in the next then one single crochet in the next stitch, do 1 single crochet, slip stitch and cut.

Repeat for the second leaf.
